Many many thanks, for your fantastic station!
I am long time Progressive fan, back to the 70's with Deep Purple, Yes, Floyd and all the other greats, seen most of them back in the day and still go to shows when possible. (Saw The Incident at Terminal 5, plan on seeing PT at Radio City 9/24.)
One small complaint, I have yet to hear any King Crimson beside "In the Court of the Crimson King" on morow. Surely they are so much more than just that one classic tune?
All the best and keep the great work up!

Glad we all agree, morow is a fantastic station.
I've discovered countless prog goups and their musical jewels on this station. I listen to morow 90% of the time when I listen to net radio.
Still, I am very surprised over the King Crimson thing. Is there really only one song by Fripp and co. worth playing?
(Now for the provocative statement to stir things up a little.) ![]()
Why does the Genesis back catalog get all the morow-love, while Crimson's back catalog is ignored?
(I am in no way anti-Genesis, or claiming morow should play less classic Genesis. The lack of pop-Collins-led Genesis is very much appreciated btw.)
More King Crimson please! ![]()

Maybe it all has something to do with royalties/licenses? you, presumably a
'Crimhead', should know by now what kind of utter jerk Mr. Fripp sometimes
can be when it comes to these kind of 'legal matters'... and protection of his
'artistic interests' ![]()
Just a wild guess, but i wouldn't be surprised if something like this would be
the case about why we hear such a limited amount of KC on Morow!?.

Thanks for the comments Symfoon! ![]()
"royalties/licenses"? Perhaps, but does that explain why nothing else from the rest of the KC debut album is played? morow does play the title track, so seems to me the license matter for the debut album at least is covered?
As far as the Fripp personality issues go, I'll leave that one alone. ![]()
But surely, if he does want to protect his "artistic interests" it would boil down to getting paid for his efforts, no? Speaking only for myself, the artists currently on morow that have attracted my own interest, have been rewarded with my support in album sales and/or concert tickets bought. Fripp seems plenty smart enough to realize that increased exposure on outlets like morow would only be better for the Crimson bottom line.
As far as being a "Crimhead" actually I plead not guilty!
I myself only own the debut and "Red". I would love to become exposed to their deep back catalog, and I think morow would be a great way to do that, just as they've done for me with the Genesis back catalog.
BTW, the only time I've seen Mr. Fripp perform live was as the opening act for one of the Joe Satriani G3 shows. He was enigmatic as his image suggests, sitting with his head down, playing an exotic instrument and barely acknowledging the audience, even though he was greeted warmly and with enthusiasm. Go figure. ![]()

Crimson are awsome! Dont know why, but I get the feeling that you would like Gentle Giant... or Three friends... Have you heard them?

bassman: Thanks for the link. Checking it out now. ![]()
Bergman-You know I always thought I would like Gentle Giant...but sorry to say the truth is nothing I've heard by GG has clicked with me , ya know? I am still open to them, but the 10 GG youtube clips I've seen have left me underwhelmed.
3 Friends I am not too familiar with, but I am sure open to suggestions..![]()
Actually, I'd like to be more clear on what I am suggesting here for the morow Forum...
-That I noticed only 1 or 2 Crimson songs being played on this great station...
-I would like to be more familiar with their back stuff, and possibly invest in music I might like, so I can fill the major gaps in my limited Crimson collection.
-Wondered why I had not heard non-ITCOTCK Crimson on the great morow?
If there are indeed "Fripp" issues underlying Crimson stuff on the net then I guess my question may be answered then...? ![]()

hahaha also very nice to see is that most songs in this top 20/30 are the songs which Mr. Fripp has totally disconected from since the 'rebirth' of KC in the 80's! ![]()

Thanks Bruno for introducing KC.
I loved to discover Lizard which is timeless.
I didn't know this album and it is amazing how this still looks so contemporary !
Thanks for all the new music you are introducing recently, like Erik Norlander that I am currently listening ...

Sorry, but if that list of top 50 Kc songs doesn't have "Prelude: Song Of The Gulls" from Islands, then it's worth nothing to me. That's a song you can put in a time capsule, dig up 500 years from now, and it will still move people's souls.
'Oorah for Bruno adding Cirkus to the rotation... though I admit for a second I thought I was hearing Astra "The Weirding", since I've been jamming that disc lately
(hint! hint!)
