Very nice but I like better his acoustic version on youtube, and I think other songs on this album are really superior, in particulary "anesthetize" is so great ...

It's ok, but what about the title track or especially "Anesthetize"? They are genius!

This track and My Ashes are my favorites by far.  I also like this "version" so much better than "Normal" from Nil Recurring.

Any song from the album will do I think. They are all good! If I had to choose... it will have to be the first 3 on the record... they are aswesome! Amazing band for sure! Now waiting for there new one!!! With some impatience smile

I love everything on this album... but have to say that Sentimental is probably my least favorite song.... but all are great to me! It is hard to believe it has been 2 years since this one came out.

Yes, Bergman, it is now a week later than when you wrote this and we are still waiting, still with some impatience.... mad But it will be worth the wait! big_smile

Sorry, but i must say i'm quite glad that there is not such a corny and schmaltzy track on the new CD like "Lazarus" or "Sentimental". These songs don't touch me that far.
But you're still waiting! Does that mean the record is not yet out in the US?

I have to agree with you on those two songs, 9feet....not real crazy about either one of them, but I hope you don't include Heart Attack in a Layby in with these two, because it is one of the most beautiful songs ever!

Yes, we are still waiting....... waiting on preordered editions ordered from the PT website that have not come yet!! Not happy about this at all, since people who preorder and pay should have their copies before they are released everywhere else! I thought that was the whole idea of preordering.... and we also most likely paid more than anyone who bought them in a store, and who are now listening to it, WHILE WE STILL WAIT!! mad

Re: Porcupine Tree /Fear of a Blank Planet /Sentimental

when FOABP came out i thought, how will PT ever manage to equal, let alone surpass this? Arguably, the Incident answers that question! Is Steven Wilson and the band not the best rock/prog/metal act of all time? Don't answer, it's rhetorical! I saw them twice on the Incident tour and the reproduction/ interpretation of that album (and everthing else they played) was phenomenal. What I also love is the work ethic of Steven and the band. His writing is prolific and the other members mastery of the music is superb. They could be one of the best matched musicians I've ever seen. Right up there with Yes, Pink Floyd and even the "real" Who of days past! Enough rambling. I love Morow. I just caught on recently and it's the best thing since sliced milk as I saw someone else say. I'm hooked!
later.
